Summer Symphony
East County Youth Symphony Summer Symphony is a summer extension of the Advanced Division. It was formed to continue pre-professional
orchestra training for advanced players who have chosen music as a possible career choice during the summer.
Summer Symphony is also an opportunity for ECYS alumni who now attend college outside of San Diego to participate if they return home during summer break.
It is open to all musicians who have at least four years of experience playing their
instrument. Summer Symphony is open to strings, wind and brass.
One of the following languages is required (for International Students) - English, Spanish, Russian.
An Audition is required.
Repertoire and concert schedule are extremely challenging.

Rehearsals: 18:00-20:50 on Fridays.
