COURSE DESCRIPTION:

CP1 and CP2:
Pre-requisite - one year of music studies
Three-octave Bb, F, C, G, D scales with two hands, and 1-2 minutes piece.

CP3 and CP4
Pre-requisite - passing grde in CP2
Four-octave all major scales with two hands, and 7-15 minutes piece

CP5 and CP6
Pre-requisite - passing grade in CP4
Bach's 2-voice or 3-voice Invention, and 1st movement of piano sonata

CP7 and CP8
Pre-requisite - passing grade in CP6
Bach's Prelude and Fugue, etude, slow piece, and 1st movement of piano sonata

Piano lessons are tuition-free for students who are currently enrolled in ECYS Ensemble and Music Theory class. For those who are interested in piano classes only the tuition is $400/semester. To register for Piano class only (without Music Theory) email Alexandra Keegan.
